On March 12, Vice Chancellor Sunny Yang, Vice Chancellor and Chief Curriculum Officer Dr. Gregory Cusack from Monash University and his delegation visited GDUT. Du Chengming, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC GDUT Committee, Vice President, met with the delegation.

Du Chengming warmly welcomed the delegation, introduced the latest discipline construction and internationalization achievements of GDUT. Based on the competitive advantage of engineering, GDUT is committed to cultivating international talents with solid professional background. He also said that the two universities have a deep foundation of cooperation, and have now carried out a number of international joint training projects. Both sides have jointly trained nearly 200 students. He hopes to carry out extensive cooperation with each other in faculty training and cooperative scientific research on this basis in the future.

Sunny Yang expressed gratitude to GDUT for its warm reception, highlighted Monash University's international education strategy, and expressed the expectation that the joint training program between the two sides will achieve fruitful results, and will strengthen cooperation with GDUT in teacher training and scientific research in the future.

Relevant persons in charge of the School of Management and the School of International Education attended the meeting. During the visit, the delegation from Monash University delivered wonderful project lectures to students from the School of Management, the School of Computer Science and the School of International Education respectively, and received enthusiastic response from the audience .
