On November 21, the results of the 2025 newly elected academicians of China were announced. A total of 73 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 71 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering were elected. Professor Chen Xin of Guangdong University of Technology was elected as an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Professor Chen Xin has devoted himself to scientific research for more than 30 years, focusing on technological innovation in the field of precision electronic manufacturing, and pioneered the theoretical and technical system of high-speed and high-precision electronic manufacturing equipment design and manufacturing. He led the team to overcome technical problems such as dynamic optimization design of high-speed mechanism, drive and control of high-speed precision motion platform, and high-quality and efficient manufacturing of micro-array.
