Recently, the Ministry of Education officially approved the construction of the Engineering Research Center of Low-altitude Sensing and Detection Technology and Intelligent IOT (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") led by Professor Xu Yong of the School of Automation. The center is an important part of the regional technology transfer and transformation center of universities across the country, and GDUT is the only provincial university selected in the field of low-altitude technology. The approval of the center has set up an important national platform for GDUT's innovative development and achievement transformation in the field of low-altitude science and technology, and also injected new kinetic energy into the core technological breakthrough and industrial upgrading of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area's low-altitude economy.
