On October 15th, Vice Mayor Gloria Fernández Álvarez, Vice Mayor Alba Monteiro de Oliveira Gil of Las Rozas, Spain, and President Zhou Jianqiong of Spanish Overseas Chinese Women's Association visited GDUT. Du Chengming, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC GDUT Committee and Vice President, met with the guests, and relevant leaders of scientific research management department, international office, civil and transportation engineering college and other units participated in the meeting.

As a leading smart city in Spain, the city focuses on the cultivation of students' innovative and entrepreneurial spirit. She hoped to carry out cooperation with GDUT in the future.
On October 17th, Tan Sri Professor Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid, President of Malaysia University of Management and Science, Dato' Sharifah Huda Engku Muda, Senior Vice President, Chen Jie, Dean of China United College, and the Dean of School of Hotel and Creative Arts, and his delegation visited GDUT. Du Chengming met with the guests, and relevant responsible persons of the International Office and the School of Continuing Education attended the meeting.
Du Chengming introduced the international exchanges and cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship education, school-enterprise cooperation, etc., and said with the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation as the start, we would conduct extensive and in-depth explorations with management and science universities and Malaysian high-quality enterprises in exchange programs and curriculum co-construction.
