On August 29th, the "Building International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community of Nansha Science City and Guangzhou Nansha Future Industrial Technology Innovation Research Institute Launch Meeting" was held in Yuexiu iPARK Guangdong-Hong Kong Cloud Valley, Nansha District. It will further exert the role of the core carrier of Nansha Science City International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Community and promoting mutually beneficial sharing of innovation achievements.
Qiu Xueqing, president of GDUT, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. He pointed out that Guangdong University of Technology has always adhered to the rule of deep integration with industry and providing high-quality service to the main battlefield of local economy, and has close exchanges and in-depth cooperation with Nansha District. Both parties agreed to adhere to the cooperation principle of "being complementary , sharing and co-constructinve soundly planned, and win-win" to jointly build the Future Industrial Technology Innovation Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as the "Future Institute"). The Future Institute will focus on emerging industries and future industries, build major scientific and technological innovation platforms in new materials, new energy, marine economy and other fields, carry out technological research and achievement transformation, attract high-level talents, and help Nansha District build a talent gathering highland, a scientific and technological innovation highland, and an industrial innovation highland.
At the ceremony, the Future Industrial Technology Innovation Research Institute jointly established by GDUT and Nansha District was officially launched.
