On July 11, the 2025 Annual Meeting of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance and University Presidents Forum were held at the University of Macau. More than 180 representatives from the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, and member universities of the Alliance, etc. attended the meeting. Wang Zhenyou, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President, attended the event.
In the University Presidents Forum, Wang Zhenyou talked on the topic of "integrating the advantages of the three places and exploring a new paradigm of talent training", and shared the valuable experience of talent training in GDUT with the implementation of the "1 +2 +3" climbing plan, and expressed his opinions on how to integrate the resource advantages of the three places and realize collaborative education, which was highly received by the guests.
Before the forum, Wang Zhenyou led a delegation to visit the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed Signal VLSI of the University of Macau, and talked on cooperation with University of Macau on personnel training, teacher exchange, scientific research and co-construction of laboratories, and reached a preliminary cooperation intention. Head from the Academic Affairs Office, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, School of Computer Science, and School of Integrated Circuits joined the meeting.
