The National Standards Formulated by Technicians of GDUT were Officially Released

The national standard GB/T 45773-2025 "Quasi-real-time information of surface chemical analysis by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy full scanning spectrum, identification and correction rules for surface pollution of carbonaceous compounds" formulated by Yan Kai of the Analysis and Testing Center of GDUT was released on June 30, 2025. GDUT was the first drafting unit of this standard. It marks that the school's new achievement of research level and standardization work in the field of surface chemical analysis, and further promotes the construction and development of related disciplines in our school.

The release of this standard is of great significance. It provides unified and standardized technical guidance for the field of surface chemical analysis, and is of great value in promoting the standardization development of related scientific research and industries. It mainly deals with the full scanning spectrum information of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, covering key technical points such as sample contamination sources, contamination identification rules, film thickness evaluation and influence correction, and provides a simple program for identifying C1s signals from carbon-containing surface pollutants. This program can identify the carbon-containing pollutants, estimate their thickness, and remove their influence on the determination of surface composition.
