From May 5th to 15th, at the invitation of some universities in South America, President Qiu Xueqing led a delegation to Peru, Argentina and Brazil. He successively visited Catholic University of Peru, Continental University of Peru, Lanus National University of Argentina, University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro State University in Brazil. He was warmly received by the visiting universities, signed two cooperation agreements, reached a number of cooperation intentions, and achieved fruitful results.
In Peru, Qiu Xueqing and the delegation visited the Catholic University of Peru and the Peruvian Continental University, communicated and exchanged views on teacher-student exchanges, joint training projects, innovation and entrepreneurship education and other fields, signed cooperation agreements with Peruvian Continental University, and reached a number of consensus in the fields of personnel training and scientific research.
In Argentina, Qiu Xueqing and the delegation visited Lanus National University in Argentina to discuss the exchange between teachers and students, joint education, transfer and transformation of technological achievements, etc. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement to speed up cooperation in scientific research and teacher-student exchanges.
In Brazil, Qiu Xueqing and the delegation visited the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and the State University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, and had in-depth exchanges on teacher-student exchanges, scientific research cooperation, joint education and other issues, and reached a number of cooperation intentions.
