On March 30th, Zhao Lixiang, secretary of the CPC Committee of Lanzhou University of Technology, led a team to visit GDUT and talked about integration of production and education, cooperation between Industry-University-Research and discipline construction. Lu Renquan, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC GDUT Committee and Vice President, warmly welcomed the delegation. The delegation includes Ji Hong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Lanzhou University of Technology and Vice President, personnel responsible for the Science and Technology Cooperation and Development Department, Alumni Affairs Department and Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Center of Lanzhou University of Technology. Personnel in charge of the Academic Affairs Office, Industrial Technology Research and Development Institute, Innovation and Entrepreneurship College, Development Planning Office, Student Employment Guidance Center and other units of GDUT participated in the meeting.
Lu Renquan extended a warm welcome and introduced the overall development of GDUT, emphasizing that though the two sides are located in different regions, both have the same goal in serving the national strategy and regional economic and social development, and look forward to realizing complementary advantages through deepening cooperation. In his speech, Zhao Lixiang said that GDUT's experience in discipline construction, integration of production and education, Industry-University-Research cooperation, innovation and entrepreneurship is of great value to learn. He hopes to take this visit as an opportunity to promote pragmatic cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research collaboration and talent co-education.
Before the meeting, accompanied by Lu Renquan, Zhao Lixiang visited the innovation hub of GDUT to learn more about its achievements in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the incubation of students' innovation and entrepreneurship.
