Recently, GDUT has made big achievement in national level competitions, including the 12th National Finals of Digital Media Technology and Creativity Competition and the 2024 National College Student Mathematical Modeling Competition.
On November 22, the 4th Innovation Forum for High-Quality Cultivation of Intelligent Technology and Digital Creative Talents in the background of the "Smart +" Era in 2024 and the 12th National College Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition opened in Chengdu, Sichuan. Teams from GDUT performed great in the competition and won 2 national first prizes and 1 second prize.
Wang Zhenyou, Vice President of GDUT, was invited to attend the Innovation Forum on High-quality Training of Intelligent Technology and Digital Creative Talents, and gave a keynote speech. He pointed out that in the process of exploring artificial intelligence to empower higher education, GDUT put forward and released the "Special Action Plan for Improving the Quality of" 133 "Courses of GDUT" to promote the high-quality development of scientific and technological innovation in the school. GDUT has built an AI-accompanied comprehensive evaluation ecosystem by building an "artificial intelligence + platform", and reconstructed the professional core course content system with "artificial intelligence + curriculum", and have made some achievement in the digital transformation of education.
The results of the 2024 National College Student Mathematical Modeling Competition were also announced recently. Teams from GDUT won 374 outstanding awards in this competition, including 4 national first prizes (the winning rate is only 0.5%), 6 national second prizes, 52 provincial first prizes, 107 provincial second prizes, and 205 provincial third prizes.
