At the 33rd International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence IJCAI 2024, the team of the School of Computer Science of GDUT (guided by Professor Yang Aimin) demonstrated outstanding innovation capabilities and technical strength in the "Wind Resistance Rapid Prediction Competition of Vehicles with Arbitrary Three-dimensional Geometric Shapes". The team won the 2nd place in track A with fierce competition. The three graduate students in the team, Zeng Peijian (Master 2022), Zheng Weixiong (Master 2023), and Lin Nankai (Ph.D. 2022), relied on their excellent AI algorithm design and laboratory computing resources to achieve rapid prediction on wind resistance of "vehicles with any three-dimensional geometric shape" . Zeng Peijian was also invited to give a technical report titled "GeoSolver Physical Modeling in Complex Geometries" at the IJCAI 2024 "Scientific Computing·New Chapter of Flow Intelligence" forum, introducing in detail GeoSolver's application of Monte Carlo approximation methods and physical attention mechanism, which effectively solves the correlation modeling problems of complex geometries in PDE solution, and demonstrates its efficiency and scalability in industrial simulation.
