Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the decision on the Award of the 9th Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research (Humanities and Social Sciences ) in Colleges and Universities. A total of 1,496 achievements were awarded (including those in Hong Kong and Macao), including 125 first prizes (4 were won by universities in Guangdong). The achievements of Professor Hu Qintai, secretary of the CPC GDUT Committee, and others won the first prize, which is a major breakthrough in the achievements of humanities and social sciences in GDUT, and it is also another major achievement made in the process of implementing the "1 +2 +3" climbing and supporting plan of discipline upgrading project and accelerating the high-quality development of humanities and social sciences.
