The 2024 Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students of Chuangxiangshe successfully concluded


In order to promote college students from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to integrate innovative ideas, exchanges, integrate into the construction of the Bay Area, GDUT joined forces with Lingnan University, City University of Macau, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Education University of Hongkong from July 8th to 14th to hold the 2024 Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students of Chuangxiangshe.

 

 On July 14th, the closing ceremony of the summer camp was held at the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base of GDUT. Zhang Xueli, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of GDUT and deputy president, Hu Renfei, student exchange project manager of the Global Affairs Office of City University of Macau, Belinda Lau, entrepreneurial action project manager of Lingnan University, and the head of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship attended the ceremony.

Zhang Xueli mentioned in his speech that the content of this summer camp is rich and colorful, not only covering activities such as visits to well-known universities in Hong Kong, visits to leading enterprises in Greater Bay Area, exchanges and seminars on innovation and entrepreneurship, research and practice of rural revitalization, etc., but also pioneered the "Double Hundred Cups" rural revitalization innovation and entrepreneurship competition for the campers. He hoped that students would strengthen dialogue and exchanges, and practical cooperation, jointly enhance national pride and self-confidence, seize the development opportunities of the times, and make due contributions to the development of new productive forces and the realization of Chinese-style modernization.

Belinda Lau, Project Manager of Entrepreneurship Action of Lingnan University, highly praised the arrangement of this summer camp, and expressed her heartfelt thanks to the universities, governments, enterprises and staff of the three places who provided help and support for the summer camp.
