Recently, President Qiu Xueqing led a team to Shahe Campus to inspect the construction of Guangdong Scientific and Technological Achievements Transfer and Transformation Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Center"), to learn about the progress of related work, and put forward guidance for the next high-quality promotion work. Lu Renquan, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee and vice president of GDUT, accompanied the inspection.
Qiu Xueqing went to the exhibition hall of scientific and technological achievements and one-stop service hall of the center to learn more about the construction and operation of the center. The person in charge of the center made a detailed report on the construction design, services, specific work measures and progress of the center, focusing on the completion of specific tasks assigned in the "1 +2 +3" climbing and supporting plan. The center will rely on the resources of GDUT, such as superior disciplines, outstanding talents, scientific and technological achievements and collaborative innovation platforms, promote the science transfer service trading platform, and realize the effective online connection between enterprise needs and scientific and technological resources. At the same time, various new media technologies such as WeChat official account, video account, digital human, and 3D technology will be employed to create a multi-dimensional six-chain integrated technology transfer service system that combines online and offline service.
Qiu Xueqing emphasized that the provincial government attach great importance to the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and must overcome all difficulties, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and contribute to local economic and social development. He put forward three requirements for the development of the center: First, we should give full play to the advantages of talent gathering and characteristic training, gather talents and scientific and technological resources, and strive to solve the "last mile" problem of the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Second, we should do in-depth and practical work, stand at a higher strategic height, build a high-level platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, build a "Science and Technology Taobao" platform, attract more enterprises, experts and technologies to settle in, revitalize resources, and realize the precise connection between the needs of industry enterprises and scientific and technological resources. Third, it is necessary to promote the platform construction with new ideas and high standards, take online platform construction as the core, supplement it by physical experience, and truly play the role of trading platform to stimulate trading volume.
