Teachers from GDUT Won the Gold and Silver Prize in the the First National College Student Career Planning Competition

Recently, College Students' Career Development and Employment Guidance Course Teaching Track Provincial Competition, a sub-competition of the first National College Student Career Planning Competition, came to an end. The provincial competition attracted 172 contestants from 106 colleges and universities to join in. After qualification review and two rounds of online review, Ms Xuan Xin from the School of Management won the Gold Award, and Ms Zhao Tianyang from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning won the Silver Award.

Since 2013, GDUT has offered compulsory courses on career planning and employment guidance for all undergraduate students, covering 100% of the students. So far, more than 100,000 students have received systematic courses. At present, GDUT has formed a career planning teaching mode combining "theoretical practice", "online and offline", "on-campus and off-campus" and "common personality". The professional level of the relevant teachers has been continuously improved. The three courses, including "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice of Science and Engineering College Students", "Career Planning and Entrepreneurship Education for College Students" and "Entrepreneurship Thinking and Action" have been awarded the demonstration courses of employment and entrepreneurship characteristics in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province. The direct embodiment of career planning education and teaching comes from the long-term accumulation of GDUT employment and entrepreneurship work and related teaching research.
