At the beginning of the new semester, the laboratory and platform construction work of the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering has witnessed new achievements. It was successfully approved for both the construction of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Sensor Physics and System Integration Application and Guangdong Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Electronic Technology Major.
The school concentrated on the advantages of related disciplines and started the application for the construction of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Sensor Physics and System Integration Application. After one year's careful preparation, it was successfully approved for the project construction. The laboratory focuses on the preparation of new sensing materials and micro-nano processing of devices, and is equipped with signal processing chips, edge computing chips and artificial intelligence algorithms to realize intelligent decision-making, striving to occupy the commanding heights of sensing technology.
In order to further consolidate the scientific foundation of related majors, the school started the application for the construction of the provincial teaching demonstration center for electronic technology majors, and was successfully approved.
