On February 18th, the CPC Committee of Guangdong Province and the provincial government held a provincial high-quality development conference, focusing on industrial science and technology innovation and seeking the future development, constantly consolidating the foundation of real economy and manufacturing industry, and continuously promoting high-quality development. Qiu Xueqing, deputy secretary of the CPC GDUT Committee and president of GDUT, attended the plenary meeting and the special panel on "Strengthening the Cooperation of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Talents and Strengthening the Support of Industrial Science and Technology Talents". Chengyong Wang, member of the CPC GDUT Standing Committee and Vice President, attended the special panel on "Accelerating the Construction of Modern Industrial System and Promoting the Integration of Science and Technology and Industry". Yu Lin, Vice President, signed a cooperation agreement with Guangdong Branch of China Three Gorges Corporation on behalf of GDUT.
After attending the meeting, Qiu Xueqing said that GDUT adheres to the philosophy of "growing together with the rise of Guangdong and contributing to the development of Guangdong", embraces the lofty pursuit of serving the country through science and education, focuses on keeping aligned with "the requirements of the central government, the direction of the Bay Area, and the needs of Guangdong", and further promotes the "1 +2 +3" climbing and support plan (building one base, two discipline groups and three centers).
