Breakthrough: GDUTers win first prize in 11th National Optoelectronic Design Competition for College Students

From August 23 to 25, the 11th National Optoelectronic Design Competition for College Students hosted by Chinese Optical Society and undertaken by Harbin Institute of Technology closed. After fierce competition, the teams from the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering of GDUT won two first prizes and one third prize in the national competition. Guanggong also won the "Best Organization Award" for the first time, which achieved a new breakthrough in the national photoelectric design competition for college students.

11 teams from the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering of GDUT attended the competition. After the preliminary, semi-final, semi-final and final selection, the "Three-person Team" guided by teachers Liu Libin and Guo Xiaobin and the "First-class God of War" guided by teachers Tang Zhenhua successfully advanced to the national finals with the first prize of the regional competition, and finally both won the first prize of the national competition.

A total of 10,907 students of 3,106 teams from 324 universities in China signed up for the Competition. The National Optoelectronic Design Competition for College Students is the most influential optoelectronic competition in China at present.
