GDUTers Visits Prince of Songkla University, Thailand for Cultural Exchange

A group of 12 teachers and students from GDUT went to Hat Yai Campus in Prince of Songkla University, Thailand to carry out cultural exchange on July 16-22, at the invitation of the PSU. This visit was jointly organized by the Student Affairs Office and the International Office.


At the welcome meeting, Janya Chanchaichuji, Assistant and Associate Professor of International Affairs Promotion at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, delivered a speech and extended a warm welcome to GDUT teachers and students for their visit to Thailand. She briefly introduced the development status and construction goals of Prince of Songkla University, and said that she would actively promote the cooperation between the two universities in high-level personnel training, professional discipline construction, humanities and arts exchanges, etc., and wished the visiting teachers and students good memories during their stay in Thailand. Later, representatives of the two universities exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo.

During our stay in the country, under the careful arrangement of Prince of Songkla University, GDUT teachers and students visited the main campus of PSU, local history and culture museums and other places, and participated in special courses such as Thai language, Thai traditional dance, Thai traditional musical instrument performance, Thai traditional handicrafts and pastry making, and deeply felt the local customs and charm of traditional culture. The optimism, enthusiasm and hospitality of Thai teachers and students also left a deep impression on GDUT teachers and students.
