Cracow University of Technology Delegation from Poland Visits GDUT

On the morning of July 19th, Andrzej Rafał Szarata, President of Cracow University of Technology, led a delegation to visit the school. Vice President Du Chengming, heads of International Office and related colleges and teachers' representatives met with the delegation. The two sides had a discussion and exchange on the development status of the school, the construction of colleges and disciplines, and the exchange between teachers and students. The meeting was chaired by Huang Rong, director of International Office.


On behalf of the school, Vice President Du extended a warm welcome to Mr. Szarata, President of CUT in Poland, and briefly introduced the running situation of GDUT. He emphasized that GUT attaches great importance to student, academic and scientific research exchanges with CUT, and hopes that through this exchange, the two universities can further deepen and expand cooperation in the fields of teacher-student exchanges and joint training on the basis of previous cooperation, and conduct more discussions in the fields of teacher-student exchange visits and related research collaboration.


Mr. SZARATA thanked the school for its warm reception. He put forward the future cooperation direction on the meeting point between the two universities, and hoped to reach new and higher cooperation with our school in the fields of teacher exchange visits, student exchange study and degree programs. He hoped that through the communication between the two universities, researchers from both sides could explore more areas of cooperation and explore wider forms of cooperation, thus further promoting the close cooperation between the two universities and promoting the development of related disciplines. 


During the discussion, the responsible persons and teachers' representatives of School of Chemical Engineering and Light Industry, School of Civil and Traffic Engineering, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, and the responsible persons of International Relations Office, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology and School of Architecture of Krakow University of Technology respectively introduced the discipline construction, international cooperation and recent development of the college.
