GDUT launched a global recruitment campaign for high-level talents to attract more overseas talents. In the afternoon of June 28 and 29, 2023, Chen Liangyou and Zhang Xueli, Vice Presidents of GDUT led the team in London, England and Paris, France respectively, to hold a meeting and exchange of overseas high-level talents.
The leaders and department heads introduced at the recruitment meeting the development of GDUT and the policies of attracting and nurturing talents, and discussed ideas with many overseas scholars who were willing to join GDUT, and many of them reached preliminary intentions. The event was organized by the Department of Teachers' affairs and the Human Resources Office, with the support of the local Chinese Embassy and Consulates, the Imperial College Students and Scholars Association, the Chinese Association of Science and Technology in French and local alumni.
