On June 18, Higher Education Mega Center campus of GDUT was bustling. Over 3000 parents and examinees walked into the campus, consulted the information about the majors and experienced the glamor of the campus. Besides the 22 consultation booths set up by schools, there were other consultation booths set up by the Admission Office, the Student Affairs Department and so on. The head, professional teachers and representatives of outstanding students from each school participated in this event. They thoroughly showed and introduced the overview of the school, including school-running characteristics and advantages of talents cultivation, etc. and warmly welcomed the examinees to study at GDUT.
As well as the parents and examinees, more than 20 reporters from Guangming Daily, China Education Daily, China Youth Daily，Nanfang Daily, GDTV, etc walked into the campus. They visited the Innovation Valley of GDUT, a national innovation and entrepreneurship education practice base, School of Integrated Circuits, School of Ecology, Environment and Resources and so on. They also interviewed the head of the Admission Office, the Student Affairs Department, etc. in term of the issues concerned by parents and examinees such as 2023 enrollment plan, major changes and bright spots in enrollments, advice for college entrance application, and so on.
