On the evening of June 18, the Men’s Basketball First-level National Championship Finals of the 25th China University Basketball Association League (CUBAL) ended in Chengdu. Guangdong University of Technology finally defeated Tsinghua University with 87-83 and won the championship of the national final.
This result sets a new record for the best performance in participating in the CUBAL competition made by Men’s Basketball Team of GDUT. This is also the second consecutive year that the two teams of GDUT and Tsinghua meet in the national finals. In the final of last year, GDUT narrowly lost to Tsinghua by three points and won the runner-up.
