Gathering talents with the competition to promote the cultivation of innovative talents in mathematics

Zhang Xueli, vice president of Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), noted that GDUT is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its undergraduate program, and that the university is making every effort to promote the "1+2+3" plan to enhance its disciplines and build a university that "supports the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, has distinctive engineering characteristics, is highly creative In order to respond to the proposition of Guangdong's high-quality development, we are striving to build a high-level innovative university that can support the development of Guangdong's strong manufacturing province and the construction of "twin regions" at a higher level with greater efforts. In this context, the School of Mathematics and Statistics actively plays a supporting role in the development of engineering in the university, serving the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and the strategy of building an open economic system in Guangdong.

Encourage participation in the competition by emphasizing the role of mathematics fields
