The 23rd Top Ten Singers Contest Final of Guangdong University of Technology was held on May 21 in the Cultural Activity Center of HE Megacenter Campus, joined by Chen Zhuowu, Vice President, Zhang Yuguang, Director of Publicity Department, and nearly 1,000 teachers and students from schools and brother institutions. Li Quan, member of Chinese Musicians Association and executive director of Chinese Vocalists Association, representatives from Xinghai Conservatory of Music, Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University, Guangzhou University and Southern Medical University were invited as judges of the final.
Since launched in September 2022, more than 1,000 students have signed up for the competition, and 10 contestants from five campuses made it to the final after the preliminary, intermediary, and campus final rounds. They took turns to perform before four contestants advanced to the third round to compete for the champion, runner-up and third runner-up.
