In order to strengthen the educational exchanges and cooperation with European countries, the Diplomats to China - Guangdong Gathering was held on the morning of May 10 at the Shipai Campus of Jinan University, organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange and Guangdong Provincial Education Department. Vice President Luan Tiangang attended the meeting, accompanies by the director of International Office.
During the meeting, Luan gave an overview of GDUT’s progress and detailed accomplishments in talent development, scientific research, and international cooperation and exchange since the high-level university construction. He also discussed the goal of achieving mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, which was met with enthusiastic applause from the participating embassies and consulates.
Diplomats from 11 embassies and consulates in China, including France, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Greece, attended the gathering. By taking part in this event, GDUT was able to increase its visibility and impact and lay the groundwork for future global marketing campaigns that would be seen as approachable, self-assured, and proactive.
