The national final of the 13th Challenge Cup Chinese College Students Entrepreneurship Competition concluded last Sunday on March 19 at Beijing Institute of Technology, with 154 gold medal works, 309 silvers and 1079 bronze medals from participating universities and colleges. GDUT won two golds, three silvers, and three bronzes, bringing home the Excellence Cup again as we stood first in group score in Guangdong province. This is also the sixth consecutive time since 2012 that the school has reaped the gold medal in the Challenge Cup.
Our school directors have long valued the selection and fostering of students in such activities throughout school-level contests, provincial competitions, and national finals. Hu Qintai, Secretary of the School Party Committee, encouraged the team members before they set out to Beijing, accompanied by Vice President Chen Zhuowu.
