Sun Yahui, a young teacher in the School of Mathematics and Statistics of GDUT, has chosen to be funded totaling around 237K euros by the Marie Skodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellows after the evaluation of the European Research Council, with a duration of 24 months. This achievement is an important testament to the School’s effort in fostering young teachers and international academic exchanges & cooperation.
As an important part of Horizon Europe, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) named after Madame Curie is the EU’s flagship program for funding the development of young scholars, cultivating Nobel Prize-level outcomes, and promoting global scientific progress. It includes a series of key scientific research funds established by the European Commission, and is one of the most competitive and prestigious programs on research and innovation talents in Europe or even around the world.
