Bernard Meunier won the Chinese Government Friendship Award

On the occasion of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China, the ceremony of the Chinese Government Friendship Award was held in the Great Hall of the People on the afternoon of September 30. Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Premier of the State Council, cordially met with the award-winning experts, and commended foreign experts for their important contributions to China's modernization and friendly cooperation between China and foreign countries. professor of our university and a leading talent in Guangdong Province, was honored with this award and attended the ceremony.This is the first time the teacher in our university received this award.

Bernard Meunieris an expert in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. He is a member of the French Academy of Sciences and a foreign academician of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2012, Bernard Meunier has made outstanding contributions to the scientific research and talent training of our university and helped strengthen the scientific and technological cooperation between China and France.
