On the morning of November 12, the opening ceremony of joint postgraduate training base was held by GDUT and Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital. Related personnel from both sides attended the ceremony, which include Du Chengming, Vice President of GDUT and Dean of the Graduate School, responsible people of the Graduate School, the leaders from relevant colleges, Qu Hongying and Liu Hongmei, President and Vice President of Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital, and a group of off-campus graduate tutors.
In order to promote the integration and development of the new engineering and the new medicine, our university signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Guangdong University of Technology and Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital" with Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital in July 2020. To further implement the cooperation objectives, which include building a personnel training system with a medical and industrial integration and innovating cultivation mode of talents, GDUT appointed 38 part-time master tutors from Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital, and both sides jointly recruited 37 graduate students to carry out the united raining this year.
At the meeting, both sides signed the "Cooperation Agreement between Guangdong University of Technology and Guangdong Second provincial General Hospital for the joint graduate training demonstration base ". Du Chengming, Vice President of GDUT, presented the letters of appointment to 38 part-time postgraduate tutors off-campus. At the end of the meeting, the participating leaders and guests unveiled the base together, opening a new chapter of collaboration between the two sides.
