From November 7th to 8th, Yang Siqi, a student of the School of Foreign Languages, mentored by Sun Wenjuan and Zheng Xiaoli, won the special prize in the Guangdong Provincial Contest of the 2020 "FLTRP·ETIC Cup ".
In the finals of National FLTRP·ETIC Cup on December 20, Yang Siqi demonstrated the talents of students of GDUT and made great achievement. She won the third prize in the English speech contest and the first prize in the 2020 "FLTRP·ETIC Cup" academic English speech contest. This is the first time for students of GDUT to participate in the national contest and win the prize.
