The finals of the 2020 BRIC Industry Innovation Cooperation Contest officially held on December 7, 2020 at Xiamen Fliport Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Promoting BRICS Innovation Cooperation in the Post-epidemic Era", the competition focused on non-contact economy and new economy, selected outstanding industrial innovation projects, and strengthened BRICS countries' cooperation in fighting the epidemic and economic recovery.
A total of 452 domestic and foreign teams participated in the selection, and finally 75 outstanding projects entered the finals. The team of GDUT won 1 first prize (a bonus of 10,000 yuan) and 1 third prize.
