On the afternoon of January 15, the opening ceremony of the IC Innovation Research Institute of Guangdong University of Technology was held in the University City Campus. President Qiu Xueqing, Vice President Yang Aimin, Vice President Chen Weiming, Hu Shengfa, Vice President of Guangdong Integrated Circuit Industry Association, Xue Quan, Dean of School of Electronics and Information, South China University of Technology, Chen Zhitao, Director of Semiconductor Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Sciences, and Dean of Integrated Circuit Innovation Research Institute jointly unveiled the Institute. The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Vice President Yang Aimin.
The purpose of the IC Innovation Research Institute is to build a high ground of integrated circuit talents, public service platform, core technology industrialization, so as to make greater contribution to the development of integrated circuit industry in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
