On the afternoon of January 28, GDUT held the completion and opening ceremony of the sports field renovation project in university town campus. All the teachers, students and alumni were glad to see that the sports field has taken on a new look. President Qiu Xueqing, Vice President Chen zhuowu, Vice President Chen Weimin and Vice president Zhang Xueli attended the ceremony. Leaders of alumni organizations in 14 cities, representatives of some alumni, leaders of relevant departments and colleges, and representatives of teachers and students attended the ceremony. Vice President Chen zhuowu presided over the ceremony.
The renovation of the sports field got the full support from the alumni. 567 alumni and 45 alumni enterprises including Chen Zhuan, Zeng Hongwei, sun Xiong, Miao Huaixing, Chen Mingbo, Chen pengman, Chen Changshui, Feng Minzhi, Zhong Guohua, Zhang Dongxia, Wu Chaoyu and Zhang Hao donated more than 5.1 million RMB, among which Chen Zhuan, founder and chairman of Guangdong Fangzhi Group Co., Ltd., donated 1 million RMB.
