On the afternoon of January 18, President Qiu Xueqing investigated the Innovation Valley of GDUT, accompanied by Vice President Zhang Xueli.
Qiu Xueqing inspected the team work area, industrial college area, multimedia classroom and other functional areas and office areas of the Innovation Valley and had a cordial conversation with the students who stayed in the robotics college and microelectronics College for scientific research projects and competition projects during the winter holiday.
After the investigation, Qiu Xueqing put forward requirements for further improving the work of innovation and entrepreneurship. He pointed out that, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship should continue to make progress in the overall planning, construction management and promotion of the Innovation Valley, focusing on the integration and introduction of human resources and social resources, so as to build a new brand and model in domestic universities through characteristic development and quality improvement. He stressed that GDUT had a good foundation for innovation and entrepreneurship and through our joint efforts, the innovation achievements of GDUT would reach a new level.
