On the afternoon of March 10, GDUT and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia held an online video conference on the possible cooperation. Luan Tiangang, vice president of our university, Dr. Mohd Ismid Md. Said, vice president of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Huang Rong, director of the International Office.
Vice President Luan Tiangang and Vice President Mohd Ismid MD. Said introduced the basic information of the two universities respectively, and expressed their willingness to actively promote the cooperation between the two universities, especially in the Sino-foreign cooperative program. Huang Rong, Director of International Office, introduced the cooperation mode, application process and related policies of Sino-foreign cooperative program. Wang Tiejun, Dean of School of Chemical Engineering and Light Industry, introduced the basic information of the school. Participants from both sides had an in-depth discussion on issues such as specialty setting, teaching plan, course mapping and teacher arrangement.The two sides reached consensus on cooperation issues and will further discuss the details of cooperation.
