In February this year, three special projects in the Guangdong Provincial Key Areas R&D Program of “Pollution Prevention and Remediation” were approved. They are namely the project of “Key Technologies for the Preparation of Surfactants and Functional Materials from Industrial Lignin”, chaired by Professor Qiu Xueqing, the project of “Development and Application of Online Risk Warming and Information Tracing Network Technology for Toxic Pollutants in the Pearl River Basin”, led by Professor Luan Tiangang, and the project of “Research and Demonstration of Ecological Control Technology Consisting of Micro-plastics Source Reducing , Process Block and Biodegradation in Rivers and Lakes Within the Greater Bay Area”, chaired by Professor Cai Yanpeng in GDUT.
On the afternoon of March 31, GDUT held a meeting focusing on the launch and implementation demonstration of the projects under Guangdong Provincial Key Areas R&D Programs of “Pollution Prevention and Remediation” in the HEMC Campus, for the purpose of carrying out pre-implementation demonstration for the aforementioned three projects.
