On the evening of April 12, Professor An Taicheng, member of the Academic Committee of GDUT, was invited to give a lecture on “Scientific Research Literacy and Academic Norms of New Engineering Graduate Students.” Relevant personnel from Youth League Committee, the Secretary of Academic Committee, School of Environmental Science and Engineering and more than 300 students attended the lecture.
Based on the training needs of the “New Engineering” talents, Professor An Taicheng combined his academic background and work experience in the lecture. He encouraged the engineering students to grow up to be innovative talents with practice capability, possessing new “literacy”, “perspective” “capability” and “thinking”. Our students should not only master discipline knowledge, but also focus on the cultivation from the aspects of political awareness, scientific research, innovation capability and humanity.
