On April 22, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, officially released the list of highly cited Chinese researchers 2020. There are 10 professors of GDUT on the list, namely, Li Hongyi, Rui Xianhong, Liu Derong, An Taicheng, Yang Zhifeng, Tang Xingui, Wang Tiejun, Xie Xiaowei, Fu Fenglian and Zhou Qi. GDUT ranks 75th in terms of the number of the highly cited Chinese researchers in China.
