The South China Research (Shaoguan) Promotion Conference, sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Shaoguan Municipal People's Government was held in the Guangdong Provincial Museum. Government officials of related departments, Vice president Zhang Xueli and leaders from Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, South China Agricultural University, South China normal University, Shaoguan University attended the conference. Wu Sitong, Zheng Shiqi, Wu Hao, Zeng Ying and Liang Zhichao, a graduate team led by Professor Zhu Xuemei of School Architecture and Urban Planning, GDUT, won the Gold Award of Social investigation and Cultural Creativity in this competition.
