On May 26, Shanghai Ranking, a higher education evaluation agency, released the 2021 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects, which targets more than 4,000 universities worldwide, with more than 1,800 universities from 93 countries and regions on the ranking list of each subject. A total of 272 universities from the Chinese mainland have been on the list for 2,470 times, ranking second globally. 16 disciplines of Guangdong University of Technology are on the list, among which 6 disciplines are in the top 100 in the world.
