The 2021 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou) was held in Guangzhou from December 1 to 4.Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a speech via video at the opening ceremony. “To understand China today, one must learn to understand the CPC”" Xi said.

As one of the most influential platforms for the world to learn about China's development, the Understanding China Conference has been successfully held five times since 2013, and it is the third time it has been jointly held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
