On December 23, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation between Guangdong University of Technology and Tencent Cloud Company was held in the university city campus.Hu Qintai, secretary of the CPC Committee, Yang Aimin, vice president, Fu Manqing, vice president of Tencent Cloud and Tencent Education, Xu Zhangliang, general manager of Tencent Education South District, and leaders of relevant departments of both sides attended the signing ceremony.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will rely on the intellectual resources of GDUT in the field of education informatization, combined with Tencent Cloud's strong background of technology innovation and ecological integration, to jointly build the "Guangzhou Engineering and Tencent Intelligent Application Demonstration Base" , which is the first new streaming media experimental center in China. On this basis, the construction of GDUT smart campus and education informatization program will enter a new stage and Tencent Cloud as the carrier, strive to become a new benchmark for the smart campus construction of universities in Guangdong Province and even the whole country. This center will provide an excellent model for the national education informatization construction.
