On July 19th, Shanghai Ranking released the 2022 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. The target of this ranking is more than 5,000 universities globally, and a total of more than 1,800 universities from 96 countries and regions are on the list of various subjects. There are 293 universities in Chinese mainland on the list, ranking second after the US.
Guangdong University of Technology has a total of 16 subjects on the list, covering science, engineering and social science. Among them, control science and engineering, computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, environmental science and engineering, and transportation engineering rank among the top 100; in particular, control science and engineering ranks 37th in the world, or 9th in Chinese mainland.
