Environmental and ecological effects of natural gas hydrate exploitation and methane release in cold seep areas, marine energy environment, migration and transformation of emerging pollutants in the deep sea, sustainable energy strategic planning, etc.

Professional Summary

Dr. Jingchun Feng is a Distinguished Professor (Hundred Talents Program) and Ph.D. Advisor at Guangdong University of Technology. She serves as Chief Process Engineer for a National Major Science and Technology Infrastructure project and is a recipient of both the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the NSFC Excellent Young Scholar award. Her research focuses on the environmental impacts of marine natural gas hydrates and deep-sea cold seep ecosystems. She is an Associate Editor for Applied Energy and a Youth Editorial Board Member for The Innovation. Dr. Feng has published over 100 academic papers and holds 66 patents, including 5 U.S. and 11 PCT patents.
