Personal Introduction |
Prof. Sun is Distinguished Professor of "Hunderd Talents Program" of Guangdong University of Technology, National Youth Distinguished Expert, the second core member of the sixth batch of Guangdong "Pearl River Talent Program" Innovation & Entrepreneurship team. After graduation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2010, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in National University of Singapore/Nanyang Technological University till 2013. After returning to China in 2014, Prof. Sun worked in Xinjiang Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute. Then from 2017, he has been working full-time in School of Materials and Energy, Guangdong University of Technology. He is mainly engaged in new energy storage and conversion devices (research objects: lithium/sodium ion batteries, lithium sulfur batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells), mesoporous functional composite materials and sensors. Prof. Sun and his team have published 46 academic papers in international journals, and has 5 authorized national invention patents and 10 utility model patents. He has presided over 12 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, the Start-up Fund for Returned Overseas Students, the International Cooperation Fund of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and projects with enterprise, etc. |
