Personal Introduction

ShaomingHuang, professor, PhD supervisor, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund. He received his Ph.D. from Nankai University in 1991. From 1991 to 1993, after receiving his postdoctoral degree at Nanjing University,he worked as an associate professor here.From 1996 to 2005, he has been engaged in research at Sussex University in the United Kingdom, CSIRO in Australia and Duke University in the United States.In March 2005, he returned to China as a professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University.From January 2005 to December 1918, he worked for Wenzhou University. Then he worked at Guangdong University of Technology(GDUT) from February 2019. He has long been committed to the application research of low-dimensional materials and devices. A series of achievements with international impact have been achieved in the basic research of nanostructured carbon materials and energy storage devices. Nearly 300 papers have been published in international academic journals since 1999, including Nat. Mater., Nat. Commun., JACS., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., AM, Nano Lett., ACS Nano, PRL, AFM , AEM, Nano Energy, Adv. Sci., Etc. They have been cited more than 15,000 times, with an H index of 60.He has applied for more than 70 patents.He has completed and undertaken more than ten projects including 973 and 863 projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the key and general projects of National Natural Science Foundation under international cooperation.

Since 1999, he has published more than 300 papers in international academic journals. His essays include Nate. Mater., Nate. Commun., JACS., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Energy, Adv. SCi., Small, Coord.chem. Rev. etc. (153 essays had impact factors greater than 5.0, including 51 essays impacting factors greater than 10.0). His paper has been cited by SCI for nearly 15,000 times and applied by Google Analytics for more than 18,000 times. The H index is 60. He has applied for 6 international patents and over 70 Chinese patents. The research results have been the covers of magazines such as Adv. Mater, Angew Chem.int. Ed., Adv. Sci., J. Mater. Chem. A, Nanoscale, J. Phys. Chem. B and Australian Science for many times. Some of his achievements have been reported many times by numerous scientific and technological media around the world, such as C&E News, Science News and Nature China.
