Personal Introduction |
Yonggang Min is the professor and PhD supervisor of GDUT. He got his Ph.D.,degree in University of Pennsylvania in 2005. He also won the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation. He studied under the guildiance of Professor Alan G. MacDiarmid, winner of the 2000 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. With more than 20 years of international work experience, he has held various technical positions in several Fortune 500 companies and famous Universities. He has served as a leader in scientific research, product development, project management, technical planning, standard setting, market development, etc. He has been involved in company mergers, joint venture alliances, new plant construction, R & D and technical center preparation, company acquisition and reorganization, and industrial alliance. His product applications are distributed to many industrial fields such as: electronics, communications, semiconductors, biomedicine, automotive, textile, insulation, construction and green energy. He has hosted a number of National projects with a total funding of several billion yuan. He has won several awards for scientific and technological achievements. More than one hundred Chinese and international patents have been declared, and more than one hundred scientific and technological articles (total citation index:> 3000, H-index is 28). At the same time, he has made more than 100 reports at various international conferences. Research areas: organic photoelectric functional materials and devices (functional polymer materials, organic light-emitting diodes, perovskite solar cells), multi-dimensional functionalized graphene composite materials and applications, synthesis and processing of high-performance polymer materials, energy saving and environmental protection And PM 2.5, etc. |

In 2004, he received an Executive MBA from Ohio State University. In 1995,he received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, USA (Instructor: Alan G. MacDiarmid, the winner of Nobel Prize). In 1991, he obtained a master degree in inorganic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, USA. In 1986, he obtained a bachelor of science degree from the Department of Chemistry, Jilin University. |
