Personal Introduction

Yang Zhifeng , born in 1963, is an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. He is also a professor of Guangdong University of Technology and doctoral tutor. He is the academic leader of National Innovation Research Group, recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young, chief scientist of National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), the high-level talent of the Ministry of Education. His research interests are water resources and water environment, ecological planning and management. He has made many key and forward-looking technological breakthroughs in engineering technologies such as the guarantee of ecological water demand in water basins, wetlands and urban environmental ecological construction, which are outstanding contributions to the technology promotion of watersheds, wetlands and urban environmental and ecological protection, having a wide academic impact at home and abroad. He now is the Chairman of International Society for Environmental Ecology, Branch Chairman of International Society for Emergy, Branch Chairman of International Society for Environmental Information Sciences. In addition, he has been served as editor, associate editor and guest editor for many mainstream journals worldwide. In 2015, he was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
