Office for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Holds Meeting to Study Guiding Principles in Xi Jinping’s Address at the Meeting Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return to the Motherland and the Inaugural Ceremony of the Sixth-term Governme

Office for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs at Guangdong University of Technology held a meeting joined by Luan Tiangang, Vice President, and teachers and students from Hong Kong, and hosted by Huang Rong, Director of the Office for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs to study the guiding principles in Xi Jinping’s address at the Meeting Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return to the Motherland and the Inaugural Ceremony of the Sixth-term Government of the HKSAR after watching the speech.

Vice President Luan commented that Xi's words are thought-provoking regarding Hong Kong's future development, injecting confidence and power for the region to reach new highs. Director Huang shared the school's recent cooperation and exchanges in cultivation, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship with universities in the Greater Bay Area, followed by a discussion on ways to foster international professionals for the area. The meeting also covered educational and managerial experience concerning students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Teachers and students from Hong Kong discussed their working or study experiences here at GDUT.
